I was cleaning up the basement and came across this vintage brochure from Intellivision. In 1981 I’m guessing this was part of the inserts with a game purchase showcasing some of their more popular games.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It always amazed me how these early video games played on our imaginations by depicting the most amazing cover art to mask the simplicity of the 8bit graphics of the time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

For example look at the above Space Armada game and compare the “imagination” image to actual game play. Hey but in 1981 I was 8 years old and the thrill of playing video games at home was so much fun!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I distinctly remember playing Major League Baseball and being amazed as this was one of the first “talking” games. The 8 bit sounds of “You’re Out” still sticks with me today.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
