I want to address the Unspecified Error when attempting to shadow a session in Remote Desktop 2012r2.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1314\" src=\"http:\/\/www.webcommand.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/shadow-error.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"212\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.webcommand.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/shadow-error.png 212w, https:\/\/www.webcommand.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/shadow-error-150x125.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 212px) 100vw, 212px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>This is what happens when you rush a patch into the wild:<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After a round of patches in January I was unable to remote any RDP sessions on my Terminal Server. When connecting to another users session I was immediately greeted by Shadow Error \/ Unspecified Error. This had been working previously without issue for a couple of years.
